MBUSA.COM - Button Component
A decision was made to standardize buttons across MBUSA, having a history of using a mix of graphical elements and traditional form buttons across the entire site. I developed a Javascript library that enhanced the standard button markup along with a new CSS style guide that covered several different globally-used styles (variations on color, grey vs. blue etc.)
The library minimised developer work, and only required a single class name to be included to declare the button's appearance and behavior.
This work was developed while employed at Critical Mass as a member of the Mercedes business unit.
